JISC Collections has commissioned a team of consultants to undertake work on how e-books might best be provided to the FE sector and this survey will greatly influence their recommendations. We would like to know more about your current situation in textbook/learning resources provision and what is the potential for providing textbooks online, including how these may be paid for and incorporated into existing systems. Police on campus

Filton College in Bristol has set up a police station on its campus. The college has given the Filton neighbourhood policing team a room to help them improve their links with its 10,000 students. It will also enable officers to spend longer on the beat without having to return to the main police station to file reports. http://www.tes.co.uk/article.aspx?storycode=6016419
